Faith
Family Chapel strives to be a faith-driven church. We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and earnestly seek Him in every aspect of our ministry. We live by faith, proclaiming the righteousness from God.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6).
For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith” (Romans 1:17).
We live by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Action
Family Chapel is an action-driven church. We first seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness, following the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ. We put our faith into action, working for the Lord by doing good.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33).
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving (Colossians 3:23-24).
But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps (1 Peter 2:20b-21).
Mission
Family Chapel is a mission-driven church. We will use our resources to make disciples of Christ, shining the light on good deeds and praising God. We will train our members to be effective witnesses in their everyday lives.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19-20).
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:13-16).
Intention
Family Chapel is an intentional church. We live our lives with a divine purpose, offering our bodies as living sacrifices and cultivating spiritual fruits. We do everything in the name of the Lord, dwelling in the word of Christ.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship (Romans 12:1-2).
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith… (2 Peter 1:5-8)
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… (Colossians 3:15-17).
Love
Family Chapel is a loving church. We obey Christ in loving God and loving one another. We show that we are born of God by loving each other. We strive to build a loving community that exemplifies God’s love for us.
We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).
Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love… (Ephesians 5:1-2).
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another” (John 13:34).
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God… (1 John 4:7-8).
Yearning
Family Chapel is a yearning church. We pant for the living God, whom we cannot live without. Jesus is our life, hope, and all in all.
My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God (Psalm 84:2).
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God (Psalm 42:1).
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21).
